Next to Normal
A bed grows into a tree and breaks through the walls of a house. Its branches sprout children's clothes, the memory of something lost but not forgotten. When the memories fade, the tree dies, but seasons are cyclical and so are our stories. "Next to Normal" is a reconsideration of the definition of sanity and an argument for the validity of a subjective truth. An all femme team collaborated on the physicalization of this feminine narrative.
